FAQ's

At Warwickshire Party Hire we understand you may have lots of questions about our hire equipment. We have tried to answer as many of these as possible below however, if you can't find an answer to your question, please call us on 0775 930 9429, or send us a message via our Contact Us page.

How do I make a booking?

We have a very simple online booking system on our website. Alternatively, please feel free to call us on 0775 930 9429 or contact us via our website.

How soon should we book our hire items?

We are honored that so many people use us for their parties however this means we become fully booked in advance. It's advisable to book items as soon as possible to ensure they don't get booked by another party.

Does the hirer need to be present when you deliver the booked hire items?

An adult, at least 18 years of age must be present when we are delivering our items. This is to satisfy our insurance requirements, so we know where you would like the items set up, we can show you how to use and look after the items and for you to inspect and sign to confirm you are happy. If someone at least 18 years of age is not present, your booking will not be completed. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for further information.

Can you set up inflatables on driveways, gravel, decking, concrete or other hard surfaces (inc. Astro turf)?

Due to anchorage requirements, we only do outdoor hires on grass. We use metal stakes that go deep into the ground. Regulations stipulate that to anchor an inflatable using sandbags outside, each anchor point must have at least 163kgs of weight on it. On a small inflatable there is 6 anchor points, therefore just under a ton of sand/weight would be required. Unfortunately we are unable to provide this much weight.

How long do I get the equipment for?
We usually base our hires on approx. 8 hours, however you can have shorter or longer and specific times if you wish but must request this at the point of booking. We appreciate that indoor hires can have strict start and finish times and will accommodate this where possible.

Do you hire overnight?
Unfortunately we do not ordinarily hire our inflatables overnight but do cater for specific events. Please contact us should you have a specific event you wish to cater for.

My bouncy castle has been cancelled by another company – are you able to help?

At Warwickshire Party Hire we understand the disappointment when another hire company is unable to complete your hire. Where possible, and dependent on availability, we will always try to help. Please note however that as responsible hirers, we are all governed by the same rules and regulations. If your party has been cancelled due to adverse weather such as wind or rain, it is unlikely that we will be able to hire.

Do you hire outdoors in the winter?

During winter (End of Sept – End of March) we only provide indoor hires. This is due to the likelihood of bad weather. We may use our discretion and allow an outdoor booking at short notice if we deem the weather to be suitable. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

What if it rains or is extremely windy?
No charge is made for any cancellation due to adverse weather conditions (Heavy rain and strong wind) on the day of your event.If wind speeds or gusts are above 24mph we do not set up any inflatable outdoors. This is for the safety of our users and the guidelines set by the health and safety executive. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full information.

Can you hire items to our venue?

We are happy to hire items to venues. All venues, whether it be your garden or a local village hall, must be secure in order to keep our items safe. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that our equipment will fit at the hired location prior to the event. If you are unsure about your venue, please give us a call on 0775 930 9429 so we can discuss your requirements. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions around when items do not fit.

What access is required?

Most items, with the exception of some of the larger inflatables will fit through a normal width door, so to use a normal door width is a good guide to go by. All of our inflatables need to be moved by trolley and this should be taken into consideration when determining suitable access. If you want us to use the house as access, it should be understood that there is always a potential risk of damage to property. We cannot be held responsible for any damage caused when bringing items through a house. Is there any age limits when using hired items?

A majority of our items are restricted by height rather than age. Should there be age restrictions, these will be stated on our website.

How long does it take to set up/inflate/deflate/pack up the inflatable?
The bouncy castles take approx 20 minutes to set up and 30 minutes to pack down. However this is only an estimate, times may vary depending on which castle you hire and the ease of access to the proposed site.

How long does it take to set up soft play?

The soft play equipment takes approximately 15 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to pack away, however this may vary depending on which package you order.

Is there anything I need to provide?
We supply all you will need for the castle, all you will need to provide is a 240 volts mains power supply within 25m of the hire location. You will also need to ensure that the proposed site for the castle is free from debris/garden furniture/children’s toys and most importantly dog/cat mess.

Does it need electricity? How much does it use?
Yes, for our castles we will supply the extension cables to a maximum of 25 Metres, so you'll need an outlet near the set up area; if the power supply is further away than this please contact us. The blower runs continuously and uses approximately £0.18 of electricity per hour. Generators can be supplied at an additional charge and this must be stated at the time of booking.

Do you charge Delivery?

We offer FREE delivery within 20 miles of our base location, which covers 99% of Warwickshire and close surrounding towns. Outside of this, we charge £1.20 a mile. That’s high I hear you say! We cover for both the outward and return trip within this cost and review it regularly to ensure we are competitive.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, we have Public Liability Insurance to cover the negligence of us as a company which can be provided upon request. In simple terms, this covers us should we set up the equipment incorrectly or make a mistake. Our insurance does not cover the liability of you, the hirer and we strongly recommend obtaining your own insurance if this is of a concern.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept card payments and cash. Please note our drivers do not carry change so if paying cash please make sure you have the exact amount.

When does payment need to be made?

Payment must be made in full, on or before the point of delivery. Unfortunately if payment cannot be made, the hired items will not be delivered.

Can you supply staff?

We can provide staff for your event for an additional fee. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
